My mother has been at Mount Pleasant gardens since its inception. The staff are lovely willing to help and do whatever they can to make the residents feel at home. Management is exceptional Denise runs a tight ship and make sure everything is done correctly

I am disappointed with Mt. Pleasant Gardens and some of their staff. We moved my father in March 2021 and I know he is difficult to manage, but I thought that was their expertise. One of my biggest complaints is the lack of communication from Judith (nursing) and Denise (administration). Leanne Lovin was very helpful and communicative. Many emails and questions regarding my father's well being were left unanswered by Denise and Judy. Bloodwork ordered by the physician was not done timely, if ever. I had it done during a visit to the ER. Most recently, my father was admitted to the hospital on a Tuesday. He, thankfully, will not return to MPG. On Monday, one week later, my sister went to his room to gather his belongings (and they knew she was coming). The hamper was filled with soiled (urine) laundry. His dresser drawers had used Depends in them on top of his pajamas. This was after the staff had told us they had been in his room to look for pajamas for the hospital and his wallet. If they had looked for pajamas and been in his room then wouldn't they have seen the mess and cleaned it up, or did they just ignore it? We cannot and will not recommend Mt. Pleasant Gardens.
