My daughter and I are now homeless due to poor communication skills from the Atlantic City Housing Authority
Phantyzee Diore
One of the most poorest , inefficient, non-professional places I'd ever had to work with in getting issues resolved with mantinace , repairs , & accounts . Its truly sad of the lack of compassion & neglect on how they handle one on one issues of the elderly & disabled residents . These offices honestly need to be investigated and handled accordingly.

You would be in a good position if you read the truth in renting booklet that your landlord/property manager should have provided when you moved in .it is an easy read and will tell you how to withhold rent until repairs are done the lease is your binding contract. It will have the order in which money is applied to your rent legal fees etc. Look up the HUD complaint number on the internet and file a complaint. I don't know any lawyers I just always handled this myself as a tenant and years ago as a landlord. You have the bulk of power. The law sees to it that the tenant gets a fighting chance by unbalancing the scale
