The staff was amazing. Very helpful, answered all my questions and got me finished in record time as I had someone waiting for me outside.

Jonathan Presley was the second person we dealt with at synovus. The first was his assistant bobbi. I came in to figure out what was going on with the account and how I possibly had such outrageous overdraft fees. From the minute I walked in, I approached the situation calmly. When Bobbi started making excuses and cutting me off while I was talking, then I got an attitude and she went to go get mr presley because he was the one who could override fees and I asked her to do that. GRANTED we are sitting next to his open door office and can see him through the window wall, she goes to him and is saying something inaudible but I do hear him say "Well then have them close their account and that's that." At this point I get up and go to the doorway with my arms crossed and wait. He looks up and smiles and says he will be right with me. So I sit back down and bobbi comes back to her desk and I say Ms Bobbi, did I hear him correctly when he said to just close the account? And she disregarded me and said you'll have to talk to him. And I said I'm just asking you if what I heard was correct or not. And she said Do you need anything to drink? She completely dismissed me and my question. So he sits at his desk for five minutes before he comes to get us. He is staring me down in a challenging manner from the get. Bot me and my fiance walk in, he shakes his hand and I, very disgruntled at this point, refused to acknowledge him with respect. I nodded in his direction and he kept his hand outreached for me to shake it. So I did. He sat down and asked how he could help us today. I said, "I have a question. Did I hear correctly sitting by that window that you said for us to just close our account?" To which this man looked me dead in my face and said, "That's a possibility." "Okay, so yes. Thats a yes. Do customers and their business not matter to you?" I asked. He got up from his desk and closed his office door, stood over me with his hand outstretched like a karate chop (with all fingers together pointing at me) and his other hand on his hip and said loudly, "If youre going to come in here with an attitude then yes--" At that point my fiance steps in and tells him he isnt going to speak to me like that and if he is, then he can go ahead and close the damn account. Mr presley immediately sat down and shut up. I then proceeded to explain the entire situation. He ended up finally helping, but still being unable to explain how the banking system works. And according to bobbi, even if you call to get your balance the balance the reps see isn't accurate. So the only way to know is to physically write out and subtract and even then, they still find a way to screw you. Another customer heard the whole thing, and the bank teller with the smart fit bit watch was talking about me saying I came in there acting crazy. So either no one has ever challenged their system or women are crazy if they come in and aren't a door mat. I could not find a link on the website to submit a corporate complaint. Customers are supposedly not just numbers, and they are "neighbors" after this I don't believe that at all.
