I was recently there on vacation and tried to visit the lodge. Both times it was locked up while the hours on line said it was open. I called the only number I could find while referencing the lodge and it was for someone in Chicago IL. The man was not terribly rude however quite strange talking about his family doing something to him by placing his number as the POC for the lodge. It was quite strang. Since leaving Savannah and returning home, this person spam texts and calls me quite often. I have since had to block the number. Is this a real lodge or just an abandoned building with a strange person to answer the only phone number listed to contact the lodge? The web site link does not go to a lodge website either. Glorious historical building with tremendous Masonic historical significance attached. Friendly to a fault 😉. Anyone interested in Freemasonry and historic Savanah will truly be awestruck.

We meet on the first and third Thursday of the month. Dinner is at 630PM and our meeting starts at 730pm. I'm not sure about the meeting you are referring to but if I can find anything regarding it, I will pass on the information. Sincerely, Michael Burke

No. Washington visited Savannah and some of the lodges furniture was used during his visit.
