Athens Church is awesome. The environments for the age groups are very well designed to appeal to the kids and the main service has incredible worship and teaching. But it is big and it is easy to get lost in it and so, I recommend getting into a small group as soon as possible. The way AC structures small groups is very conducive to building long running and solid friendships.
Yes. They have groups for singles. But I think groups started a few weeks ago. Still come on Sunday and see what we are all about!!

Hey Akosua, unfortunately we do not have bus service that runs from Riverbend Parkway. However, if you are a student at UGA we do have a UGA bus that picks up at the Joe Frank Harris Dining Commons Bus Stop at 10:27am. That might be the closest option. If you're not a student, the Athens Transit Bus route actually drops off in front of the Krispy Kreme on Atlanta Highway which is right in front of Athens Church. That might be an option as well!
