First problem-when we arrived at the dealership several “sales” associates were talking with one another and no one ever came to talk to us. We left. We went to the Jim Shorkey dealership next door and told them we wanted to see a vehicle we saw online. That salesman drove us to the Kia dealership and we ended up buying the vehicle on August 6th. It is now October 21st and we STILL can not get a tag. We were told that the title had not been released to them yet and we had them fill paperwork out for us to get a 30 day extension from the tag office. Well, that has now expired. We are driving on an expired tag and throughout this whole experience no one ever wanted to answer questions. We were transferred to many different people and no one returned messages. We were also sent an $1,100 check with no explanation as to why. I called the head office and they never called me back. Finally, when we drove to the dealership to demand a solution we were told the check was sent to us by mistake and it had been voided. I’m not sure what is going on, but I’m confused as to how they sold us a vehicle when they didn’t even have a title to it. I’m so frustrated at this point that I had to leave this review. I usually do not leave bad reviews because I believe in extending grace in most circumstances, but this situation is ridiculous and now I’m in jeopardy of receiving fines if I don’t get a legal tag.
