********BUYER BEWARE********* APPLYING FOR FINANCING AT CARMAX WILL DROP YOUR CREDIT 50 POINTS I applied for a vehicle on 910 I wasn't able to complete the purchase and I reapply two weeks later for the same vehicle basically 2000 more my down payment between both inquiries went from 1600 to 14,000 after a week of hunting down answers calling multiple people at carmax getting different answers no one seemed like they knew any answers finally I spoke with a manager that said that they spoke with the finance company and the finance company told them I was putting a lower bracket because of my credit score being lowered due to the inquiries from Car max No one told me this initially thanks CarMax

Carmax will make an offer on pretty much any car, regardless of age or condition. But the offer may be disappointing for vehicles older than 5 years.
Power of attorney and title. Otherwise you may have to transfer ownership at the state first (death certificate required).
