To be honest it's over rated. I think Mebane is caught up in an idea. Margaritas are the only thing on the menu worth the money. If you haven't been you're not missing out. Other than the nasty food the service is pretty good.

Great food, huge portions, and reasonable prices. I feel like La Cocina used to be kind of generic but they have really stepped up the food quality since the last time I came.

Hector was a good server. My daughter's order was messed up but he quickly fixed it. The food is always delicious. They can accommodate large parties.
