Great central location for a lot of fun things to do! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. So much to do nearby: Kayaked on Jocassee, also close to Lake Oolenoy. Drove to the observation tower on Sassafras Mountain one morning for a spectacular sunrise. Must be self contained as there are no shower facilities but provides full hookup and excellent wifi. Stay on rows B or D to face the mountains.

Palmetto Cove has monthly rates but not seasonal. At least that has been true in the past. Full hookups 30 or 50 amp are $500 mth. Palmetto Cove is open April 1 to November 15. Beautiful place to stay. Remote, but wonderful.
It's a membership campground, so I am not sure.
No dog park,no aggressive breed. Must be on leash.. Wide open to walk dogs..
Non member is $30 a night full hook-up. They do not have a bath house so your unit has to be self contained. No tents ect.
