My frame on my glasses broke today and I took them here for repair. The people were so friendly and helpful!

Broke my reading glasses and decided to try Walmart in Powdersville based on the previous positive reviews. My prescription from out of state is still current so did not need an exam however the people working here today were so very friendly and helpful. They took their time helping me find frames at a decent price that are comfortable for someone prone to headaches. Would use this location again for sure!

Its actually $109.00 with no tax currently. If you need contact lenses there are additional charges for the contact lens fitting. $70 for simple fit lenses. $80 for toric/astigmatism lenses, and $90 for multi-focal fittings. Additionally, if this is your first time wearing contact lenses, there is a charge of $20 for contact lens insertion and removal training that takes place at the office.
We can do basic glaucoma screening and detection at this office and the doctor is even able to prescribe medication if needed depending on how advanced the glaucoma is. However, for more in-depth studies and scans, as well as photos of the optic nerve, we would recommend you visit one of our primary offices in Greenville on White Horse Rd, Greenwood, Spartanburg, or Newberry as those offices are equipped with the machines needed to perform those tasks.
We accept most forms of Medicaid at this office for the eye exam and some Medicaid plans offer a specific selection of frames for glasses if they are needed. Some Medicaid plans only cover vision for children, and not adults. Others cover both children and adults. Blue Choice Medicaid, however, is not covered at our office. Please feel free to give us a call and we'd be happy to look up your specific benefits and plan.
Superior Vision is in-network with us for the eye exam and the Vision Center accepts it for glasses or contact lenses. Some Superior Vision plans do require copays which need to be paid at the time of the visit, we would just need to look up your specific Superior benefits and we can let you know.
