I am Wendy I am so mad at this because this person Named Anita Odomaku she is African and since my husband is African they both decided to get together without my knowledge and close my OWN CASE !!!!! I am so upset etc!!! Every time I call no one wants to answer the phone to help me she is obviously going to help her fellow African friend but screw me! I love my husband but this cannot go on any longer it’s hurting me and my own kids. I really need help and no one is willing to answer the phone to help me!

I’ve had two interviews scheduled for a phone interview and both times the caseworker does not call. Completely unacceptable.

I truly love that I got the letter about my telephone interview AT 8PM TODAY when the interview was apparently supposed to be YESTERDAY AT NOON. 😡😡😡 I was in class at the time and my caller ID registered it as a Spam call. No message was left. When I realized just now what happened, I tried to call and leave a message explaining the situation in the hopes that I wouldn't come out looking like a total flake... voicemail inbox is full and it hung up on me. 🤦😑

The same thing happened to me just the other day so i called my case worker's supervisor and left a voicemail saying that it was unacceptable that it had been over a month and still no phone call, I told her at this point in time I'm outraged and was going to call the commissioner if they did not call me back by the end of the business day. And my case worker called me back in less than 30 minutes.

You have to call, wait 2 business days then call the supervisor and wait for them to call you back. Remember all those budget cuts everyone has been cheering about? Congadulations this is the result. Not enough workers to man the phones and work cases.
Slip her the number to the domestic violence hotline. When you here the abuse taking place. Call 911 and tell them you want to remain anonymous.

Go to the office and ask for the front desk supervisor. Also ask to speak with the director Shaun Brown or Shelia Deese Jenkins

Your application was probably denied because you failed yo have an interview. You HAVE to have an interview in order for someone to assess your circumstances and determine eligibility

No you have to reorder online or over the phone .
Due to trial and error. The system sometimes doesn't caught up with the caseworkers input and they have over50 cases. Just go back and talk to someone and don't get upset. The system is set up with another computer not another human. Everything will be ok.
All noncritical government offices and financial businesses are closed

Try applying for TANF instead.
Rarely, each office has one day a month to apply for utility assistance. You are better off reaching out to Salvation Army or other organizations in your area.
