Nice clean area, great for fishing and swimming and family always welcomed. Nothing has changed, this is a good place for everyone to enjoy the river and cool breeze and good fishing.

We had a great time here! Simple trip. Easy to float. Easy to walk back. Wonderful, clean bathrooms.

We went tubing, took the 3 hour float! The staff was friendly and got us right out on the river. The Dan river here is wonderful. Almost trash free and clean . Rock formations all along the trip. With a few small rapids. The river was NOT crowded. We had it to ourselves , the entire float. It's a remote float , but worth the ride to get to Stokes County. I cant wait to go again!!

My friends and I were looking for a place to go tubing from Raleigh and chose this one on the basis that you can make reservations from their website and they had great reviews. Andrew was really helpful in responding to my questions regarding the water level and helping us to make the decision to drive out from Raleigh. We had a great time, the river is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. The Mill is also a very beautiful old building. Since they seem to cater towards families rather than large groups, the river was peaceful and felt secluded. We will definitely be back sometime for the camping and live music (and more tubing of course)!

I don't think so but I've been wrong before. Good luck getting a response from the owners. Now that could take a month.

What side of the spill way do you have to Ford to get around paddling downstream

There are stairs river right. The write up in Paul Ferguson's paddling eastern NC is a good place to start. Possible, yeah. Predictable, no. High likelihood of strainers. There's a walk in fishing access off elastic plant Rd if fishing is the goal...
