First, WW doesn't replace your windows, a second party contractor does. We had a terrible experience with the contractor (broke multiple windows, destroyed inside trim, left broken glass all around the perimeter of my home and garage). Owner of WW worked really hard to remedy the situation and did for the most part (still have a gap in one of the window trims). Fired the contractor on the spot because he agreed the work was done poorly and fixed everything that was damaged or not installed correctly. Forward a year and I call to get the second half of my windows done and the response I receive is "We do not want to come back and work on your home, it is too risky for us. We lost money". Naturally, I am beyond shocked and irate that a business who admits the work was done poorly the first time by contractors they hired and then fired wants to come back and somehow make this seem like it was our fault and doesn't want our business! How exactly is this risky for you? Its more like its risky for us to even call you to finish the second half of my home and we did anyway! What kind of customer service and/or response is that? Original work was done by a contractor that you fired and somehow this is my problem and you don't want to come back to do the other job? The fact that we even considered giving them the second opportunity to finish our home should be enough for this company to appreciate our willingness to give them further business, but to be turned down just blows my mind. So incredibly disappointed and mad. I do not recommend using them.

From start to finish everything went well. Def recommend. Chris and Kenny did my installation on my 7 window house and touched up, painted and made sure they were right. They look awesome and I really appreciate the effort to be on time and be pros. Shout to Ashley for being responsive and helpful too.

Almost 40 windows replaced by 2 different crews. Wasn't impressed with one crew, lots of damage around replaced windows. The other crew did more windows, cut out walls to expand windows, and they all looked perfect when done.

In the rare occasion that you do have a problem with your Window World replacement windows, we recommend that you visit the Support section of our website. Most of the issues encountered by our customers are easily corrected and don’t necessarily mean that there is a problem with your window. This website contains a number of easy tutorials to aid you in correcting most of these issues. We generally remove all debris from your property and dispose of it. If you would like to keep your old windows or storms, please notify the installer as soon as he arrives for your installation.
Your replacement windows will be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of replacement window being installed and type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to install your replacement windows. On average each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please remove your curtains, blinds, and/or window treatments. Security devices should also be removed or deactivated by your security company. Please provide the installer with a clear path to the window by moving any personal items or furniture that is in front of the windows. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows.
Window World installs windows year round. A standard installation will take only one day. Our installers install one window at a time and are trained to close any doors to the room they are working in to minimize heat loss. The energy savings from the new windows will recover any additional costs incurred within a few days.
The majority of our windows are installed from the inside. In certain situations, we may be required to install from the outside.
Window World of Athens accepts checks and all major credit cards. Six months – same as cash and 100% financing programs (subject to approved credit) are available.
“Any Size” refers to any size double hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently this is a minimum width and height of 15“ X 26“ and a maximum of 48” X 78”. “Installed” refers to the removal of a basic wood double hung window and replacing it with a vinyl Window World double hung window, using the existing wooden stops.
