Love this dog park - a little gem!!

Super cute and large dog park. Went with my friend and their two dogs. It's a beautiful dog park with a large mulch pile for dogs to play in, a small doggie pool, and lots of space. Several picnic tables and benches around for us humans to sit and watch all the dogs play. Plenty of shaded area, and lots of dog water bowls that can be filled to keep all the pups hydrated. Oakhurst is by far my favorite dog park in the Atlanta area.

A wonderful place with a trail through the trees.

Nice friendly park for your dogs.

Yes there is. They have a little tub for the dogs and there's water for drinking for the dogs . it's very nice and parking is close, right across the street!
That may happen at times but mostly I see very little issue with people not paying attention to their dog. There is so much space here as well that it is easy to get away from that rougher play. I think it's one of the best dog parks in the Decatur area.
No, not really. But I've seen plenty of puppies there and none of the older dogs mess with them! I would just advise to watch your puppy very closely, especially if they aren't fixed yet!!
Yes.
No trail for running. There are small walking trails up a hill under tree cover.
Yes it is. But there is not a separate park for small and large dogs. Just 1 park
It's a huge open space and, because of the vegetation, it can get hard to keep an eye on your pup. We haven't issues with aggressive dogs here in the past, but they certainly exist. Maybe take your little one to a smaller park, like Park Grounds, if you'd like to keep a close eye on him or her.
