I recently visited my mom at this facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and mom looks to be very well cared for at this facility. I would definitely recommend this facility for your loved one.

My big sister was moved to the Carriage House on Tuesday, February 20th. Her daughter and I drove down from Philadelphia that same day, not sure what we would find when we got there. We were so very happy that Meg is there. The facility is a bit dated but the people who work at the Carriage House are wonderful! Meg had only been in the facility for about 3 hours when we arrived and everyone already knew her name. Not only that, they smiled, they talked softly about her and told us that they were happy she was with them, in their care. And they meant it. Linda manages the day shift. She took us right to Meg, talked to my sister, told her we were there. And Eric, the Maintenance Man and all around wonderful person, worked with us for 3 hours, helping us to move in things like a mini-fridge, clothing, books and a television. He hung up her curtains, set up her cable and just generally reassured us that my beloved sister and my niece's mother were in good hands. Lisa, the Hospice Nurse came into the room, introduced herself, and knelt down to talk to Meg in her wheelchair, to say hello and tell her she was there. Every single person we met was kind, giving hugs when we needed them and reassurance and information, as well. The facility may need some TLC but it was clean, the residents were clean and those that could walk, were up and walking. My sister's last days will be spent here, 600 miles away from me. But now, because of the staff at Carriage House, they will be the best days she can have.
