I made reservations for a double room on Tuesday via the hotels website, the reservation was for Saturday night. At about 1p on Saturday I received a call from the hotel letting me know that they were oversold and would have to cancel my room. I asked why and was told there was a lacrosse tournament in town (that I was attending) and people are extending their stays. I then informed her that was not my problem and that I have a confirmation number from Tuesday and that she needs to find me a room. She told me she doubted she would be able to find me a room. Then, after doing her job for her and explaining that I was not going to share a bed with my teenage son so if she has a single with a roll away I will take that but I want her name and the number of the corporate office left for me when I check in. I checked in and not only didn't she leave her name or the number of the corporate office but I was told there were no roll away beds available. Thankfully, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and once I explained everything I had been through she found a roll away bed. The experience was complete when I saw a roach in the bathroom. And the 'breakfast' is a joke. I did call the 'corporate office' only to be connected to a woman working from home on a speaker phone so I could hear her kid crying in the background, she eventually had to put me on hold to deal with her kid.

This should be your last choice if you are staying in 25 miles radius. Only good thing was Anthony who worked at the front desk. Rooms smells musty like those cheap roadside motels. Soon as we walked in, there was guy who was vaping in barely you can call a lobby. Staff didn't say nothing. I assumed they new the guy. Bathroom is dark. No small shampoo or lotion. Hallway carpets looks nasty and smelly. I can see they have done renovation. I could imagine how it was before. If you have children, don't let them walk around Hallways. We didn't feel totally safe even though nothing happened. Some guy's were smoking weed outside in the parking lot. That has nothing to do with the hotel staff. But, That's your clientele. Don't even get me started with the breakfast. Picture is at 8am. There's nothing there. It wasn't cheap either. $142 a night. It was 5 minutes from the event we attended. We booked totally because of location. This is not rural place. 30 minutes from DC. UNACCEPTABLE.

Our first room had a bed that was already used, and the smoke alarm was chirping. They moved us to a second room that smell thick of smoke. The third room only had one bed and was smaller, for the same price. The final insult was the smoke alarm starting to chirp. Looks like no one maintains this place, and no one checks to see if the rooms are clean. One word: gross.

Positive: Great location, fantastic staff Negative: My AC did not work in the room, so I complained... they gladly moved me to another room. Inconvenient, but taken care of. Great stay!
