Our roof and siding were replaced by these folks. They did a great job. They have attention to detail and clean up far more than other building contractora I've dealt with. Their sales team helped us through any questions and when our insurance adjuster missed a bunch of stuff, they walked through it with them and made sure we got the coverage that was fair. Would absolutely hire again.

Great customer service! I had an ordeal with my insurance company trying to get my roof fixed after a storm. Once Bob got involved everything finally started moving forward. I have my NEW roof on and it looks amazing! New siding and gutters are planned for September and I can’t wait! Highly recommend MInnesota Exteriors. Sept 12: siding project underway!

Chuck and his team did an AMAZING job on our roof. It was a major project with all the garages and the home, and we were super impressed at the professionalism and the clean up of the project. So happy they were the team to tackle this job!

Efflorescence is a white/yellow powder that sometimes forms on the surface of veneer products. It is the result of free lime in the cement dissolving into the mixing water. Efflorescence should be cleaned immediately from the surface by scrubbing with a soft bristle brush and clean water. Rinse immediately and allow to dry; repeat the process if it is still visible.
Cleaning your exterior stone can be done with a soft bristle brush and a solution of granulated soap and water. Rinse immediately after with fresh water. Because it is lightweight and made with a shale aggregate, it is not recommended to use a wire brush, power-washer, sandblaster or any acid or acid-based products to clean your stone.
Like most home exterior products, manufactured stone veneer will weather after time spent exposed to the elements. Similar to that of natural stone, colors will lose a bit of their contrast over the years. To preserve the coloring, sealing the stone with a masonry sealer can be very helpful.
Stone thickness will vary with each profile, but all are considered to be a thin veneer and will range between 3/4” and 2 1/5” in total thickness.
A fresh exterior will brighten your home and give it a whole new curb appeal. It is more energy-efficient, too, which means it can save you money on your bills as well as reduce upkeep and maintenance costs.
Steel cladding and James Hardie fiber cement options will hold up the best. Both types are resistant to warping and rotting throughout the changing seasons.
Seam separation, swelling, chipped paint, fading, storm damage, and moisture inside your home are indicators you need a new exterior or professional siding repair.

Hi Nick the Siding we installed is Heartland Hartech D5 Woodgrain in the color Misty. Unfortunately that is a discontinued color. If you have a piece you want to bring in we could certainly see if we have a close match but we would not have Misty. I hope that answered you questions. Sincerely, Tonia Fesenko Minnesota Exteriors
