They keep you informed as to how the patient's surgery is progressing. The waiting rooms are comfortable. You can move around if there is too much chatter from other people waiting as well. I did find some of the people conversations rather loud. The Doctor was very professional at all times.

The Birthing center is dedicated to mother and babies. The main anmed hospital doesnt deliver babies in the area anymore. Also the women's and children has alot of obgyns and children's doctors offices located inside. Hope this kinda helps
You should call AnMed for that answer. If you need an obgyn you should go to a Med. Care doctor. You will have to wait. If you go to the ER.
Your going to want to enter B wing. This will be on the South side of the hospital. Coming off of E. Greenville street onto Reed rd. Youll enter second parking lot entrance on your left. Take this access road to first stop sign and turn left. Youll come to a horseshoe shape parking area. Inside the revolving door straight past the ambassador desk is Women's diagnostics. This will be where you check in. You can also check AnMeds healths website to see dates that the mobile mammography bus will be on site. Hope this helps, and have a pleasant visit.
There is an emergency department at 800 N.Fant street. However 2000 East Greenville street is where you can establish an OBGYN. Also 2000 E.Gville street has a very good Pediatric department, that handles many of parents concerns, as well as Kids Care unit...
Blue Ridge orthopedic office across from the women's and children's hospital on Reed rd
