Mrs. Joyce is sweet and pleasant but the staff SUCKS if they put their phones down just maybe the "Buffet" wouldn't be ALWAYS empty, or out of or a 20 min wait you a black soul food restaurant and always out of greens, yams, Lima Beans, black-eyed peas. I can tell this lady works hard but her staff/family needs to tighten up!!!

We went to this place for dinner because we heard the food was really good, but what we found was the complete opposite. The place was downright digusting, with flies flying all around the food. The staff was on the lazy side, making customers wait because "they didn't want to rush" ringing up customers. After dealing with the presentation of the resturant and lazy staff, we found the food to be awful. In fact, the only reason I'm even giving this place two stars is because the fish was the only decent thing to eat. This resturant isn't long for this world, and your money is best spent somewhere else. Edit (10/25) - It's obvious the manager of the resturant can't handle feedback. It's sad when someone in the resturant business can't accpet that bugs landing on people's food shouldn't happen, but this manager just brushes it under the rug and doesn't seem to care. Super gross!

We are open 11-9 Tues-Sat, 11-6 Sun. Closed Monday. However we will open this Monday 1/1/2018. We will be serving the must have foods traditional food items for the start of the new year.
They supply gloves to take your food. Joyce herself wears gloves as she's tallying your order and everyone wears face masks. Food is yummy!!

7.99 lunch....9.99 Dinner Fried chicken is the best I ever had and fried fish is made to order! Even had chicken and dumplings on the buffet and eight dessert choices including homemade German chocolate cake and warm peach. Obbler. This place is the truth for great eating. Also there is plenty of room, the wait staff was great and the customers friendly. Loved it!
Yes we do take out. You can call in or come in to order. You can also make your own plate and it will be priced by weight.
