First of all get there and wait for over 30 minutes trying to figure out where someone is then approach someone and they say why are you yelling at me which I was not deaf in one ear people never know what's going on with another human it's always great to be polite no matter what the case especially when you throw up I'm the manager of this facility... Well back in my days managers that spoke to anyone the way he spoke to us three ladies would not be a manager he basically called us all liars in a roundabout way I understand the population is full with more animals then anyone can handle but when you're dealing with the public I don't care what the circumstances are must be nice caring and humble the customers always right even when they're wrong but you don't stand up there and argue with them and you look at them and say oh you call that location let me call them and you pick up the phone in the woman's face and call the place say well I don't know what the problem is they answered for me so unprofessional you don't like your job maybe there's another one out there that you would love basically it remind me of a 2-year-old having a temper tamper I'm just saying

I have limited experience with Shafter Animal Control, but each time I have visited the location, the people working on site have been very accommodating and helpful with my wife and my efforts to foster stray kittens, they offered advice, services, and even some equipment (on loan) at no cost. They are located a bit out of the way so I would first validate that you live in their jurisdiction and validate their office hours as they may vary day to day.

They were so helpful in educating us on taking care of bottle fed kittens and were very sensitive about one that was failing to thrive and needed to cross the rainbow bridge.
