A couple of years ago, I hired Snap Construction to insulate my attic. I worked with Matt Thomes as my main contact. I had several bids to solve the hot roof problem with my story and a half home, and the bids and solutions were all over the place. Matt gave a competitive bid for the attic insulation, and advised me about what would be cost-effective at the time, and what made sense to do when I eventually replaced an aging roof. That project was efficient and solved most of the hot-roof problems. After completion, there was still a problem area of the roof, which Matt trouble-shot and was able to fix. This year, our home got hit by the May hailstorm, and we were working with our insurance to cover the replacement of our roof and our damaged aluminum siding. I chose Snap again due to Matt's responsiveness and advice through the process, and the fact that a close friend had also hired Snap for a roof replacement and been very satisfied with their work. Matt was able to help us understand the cost-benefit differences of different materials and approaches, and he and others from Snap worked with us from start to finish. The communication and collaboration with insurance was excellent. Matt was able to add a few other smaller jobs--gutter repair, repair of damaged siding on the garage that was not part of the insurance claim--and bill us for them separately and reasonably. The work was neat, correct, and complete, the cleanup prompt, and the hassle (aside from product shortages) was minimal. I would use Snap again if the opportunity arose.
