I drove with J&R several years ago and have since left the industry. Every company certainly has positive and negative aspects but honestly this is a good company. They treat their drivers well… the dispatch crew attempts to work with the drivers schedule and the equipment is generally nice and well maintained. The only real negative is they run East a lot and there are toll roads they prohibit the driver from using unless the driver pays for it. This is troublesome as it puts the driver on highways with numerous stop lights, small towns and Amish people to deal with. But overall- a very good company and if I was still OTR- I would certainly work with them again. Good luck

The demand for truck drivers is HIGH. I suggest using ZIP RECRUITER and INDEED.COM to find trucking jobs. JR Schugel is good for company driving... bad for leasing...DO NOT LEASE WITH THEM...or any trucking company that has company drivers

maybe it is time to teach them old school respect. It is sad to see these people swerving a semi truck at other vehicles using a semi truck as a weapon. Dash cameras are so nice. Glad I have them.
Previously we used to do so but not as this time after driver pay was increased.
