After moving to Monticello my family and I tried attending many different church services at varying locations. Having 3 kids the goal was to find somewhere that is warm, kind, open and great with kids. Many other locations had a mix of those qualities and feelings, but Resurrection was the only one that had the complete package. The pastors are extremely caring and devoted to the congregation and know scriptures better than anyone. The church staff are very helpful, kind and lead amazing ministries that I have personally seen help many inside and outside our local community. Lastly, the youth program assist in teaching our little ones about Jesus and the kids come out of the program called "pathfinders" with great stories of their time and friendships are often fostered. I can't say enough about what Resurrection is doing for our local community and what they have done for me and my family.

My family and I we’re looking for a church and decided to try Resurrection. We all enjoyed the Sunday Worship, and my grandchildren liked the pathfinders. My older grandson enjoyed helping with the pathfinders classes also. Everyone at Resurrection is so welcoming. It will be such a joy when we are able to attend together at the church once again.

Resurrection Lutheran Church is such a warm and welcoming place! We had been members of Resurrection years ago but we had quit coming after the birth of my son, where our lives took a turn. Then having been out of the church scene awhile, we felt intimidated to come back after several years of not regularly attending. But we decided to give it a try. And, we felt so welcomed by all. We are happy to call it our church. My children love attending. It isn’t a chore to make them go. It is a positive, welcoming place where we can all come together for worship.
