All of you 5 star ppl…do you know where the majority of uranium is mined? On Native American reservations. The mining of uranium is filthy. And when the company is done? They leave the mines wide open so the leftovers blow throughout the res or for anyone to stumble onto because, hey, white ppl are so much more worth any brown or black body, right? ASK where uranium is mined and how before you talk about how clean this “energy” is.

What is the purpose for the tower ?

Cooling towers are constructed for plant cooling and to protect aquatic environments. The nuclear reactor is located inside a containment building, not the cooling tower. The cloud at the top of cooling tower is not radioactive.

We are removing all of the invasive species from the Xcel properties. We will be replacing them with the correct species. Part of Xcels commitment to nature.
