Been getting car batteries, house batteries and bulbs here for years. Quick in and out, often running specials. Took a battery in that I thought was still warrantied. Younger worker was less than cordial and a bit argumentative. Then he said I'd have to order and wait 3 weeks for a new battery. Went down the road to an autoparts store and walked out with a battery for less money. So, no more trips to BPB.

Alkaline batteries can be thrown in the regular garbage. NiCad can be turned in to Batteries Plus or Hennepin recycling center in Brooklyn Park.
