I use to work for them like 15 years ago though a Temp service off and on for 3 years and I know they use to Nickel plate small items so I'm hoping they can do business with me on Nickel plating small Plastic parts that I make with my 3d printer

FYI March 2022: They do not do any car or motorcycle parts. They stopped some time ago. Not sure why there is a pic of a motorcycle on their google page.

Questions & Answers

Do you re-plate used die cast or pot metal car trim pieces?

Al McKenzie | Oct 31, 2019

Hi Al, Yes, John Judge is correct. We do not have the capability to re-work old car parts. That requires hand polishing and buffing before plating and that is equipment we do not have. Please try AAA Metal Finishing in St. Paul, Minnesota. Phone 651-228-1418.

I have a 8 inch round ring that goes around a stop light that was on a school bus. Kind of rusted. Can that be chromed would you sand blast it as well? The ring is less than an inch thick. Thanks, Lu

Hi Lu, Sorry we do not do "custom" work like re-finishing (chroming) truck, car or motorcycle parts. That requires a different set of equipment for re-finishing old or used parts. We at Hard Chrome are only set up for new steel production part work. Thanks!
