Mr. Meyer is an amazing therapist. I felt very comfortable talking to him and he really built my treatment around what would work best for me as an individual. There was no to get better you must do A, B, C etc. Actually there was no "get better" at all. He never once said something was wrong with me, just that if this was a behavior I did not like in myself then let's find the tools to fix it. It never felt like I was talking to a therapist just a person with more wisdom than me.

As a student of Marriage and Family Therapy, I visited Julius Skip Meyer at the Carolina Counseling Center concerning professional/academic advice. Mr. Meyer spent time listening to my situation and he offered me sound guidance. His empathy and earnestness shined through as he set forth to mentor me, during a time that may have very well been one of his only "breaks" during that day. Based on my interactions with Mr. Meyer I can see how he would be of great benefit to his clients and though I did not engage in therapy with him I feel as though I can testify to his ability to counsel.
