This was one of my favorite places to go to growing up. It was a safe place and I Love how they have remodeled inside. The outside still looks and feels the same and I don’t believe it should. Going into the library it was two people sitting at the desk a woman and a man with glasses. I smiled and was looking/waiting for some sort of greeting as I walked passed and even though I know they seen me come in and walk past neither one lifted their head and said anything. They didn’t have any customers in front of them. It just did not feel right at all to go to a place like that and have people at the front desk (people that provide or should provide great customer service to EVERYONE that comes in and out of those doors) I was really disappointed in this place. Although upstairs in the teen section was by far the sweetest most helpful person I ran into in the entire place. She had so much information and really seemed happy to help and talk to me. Overall i like what they done to the place and outside the sweet lady in the teen section (my apologies for not getting her name) this was by far the worst place (just speaking about customer service) i have been to since traveling back to rock hill. I Do Not recommend this place at all.

This is a phenomenal library! I'm so glad there is this gem in the community with something for everyone. The employees are always pleasant and very helpful. They have vast resources and an impressive online book hold/request system which gives updates regularly. So if you want a particular book but is not on their shelves, they'd work to make sure you read it.💖 They also have very fun small kids and teens programs which my kids enjoy very much. The staff whom host the kids events and activities are kind and sweet. Ms. Deandra, Ms. Connie, and the other ladies at the kids room, leave a very good impression of what working with kids and the parents is like. Thank you, your work shows! 😊
