I am a notice resident at the Maplewood Townhomes. This place is absolutely terrible! First, about a year into me moving here my central air went out. It was a heat advisory and it was 102 degrees in my unit. I contacted maintenance and they was more than willing to come out, however, Tina (property manager told him not too). Second, I have not had closet doors in my unit since last year. They recently put ugly brown doors on for showing purposes. When maintenance finally came in to put closet doors on the maintenance guy decided he was going to sit on my bed as he did his job. Third, just today I was disrespected in front of my child. The maintenance guy (Rosevelt) decided he was going to come into my home and intimidate me into not calling “on call” maintenance anymore. He argued with me in front of my child. He left the without putting the part back on the furnace (no clue what it’s for). My hot water still isn’t working. I am 100% sure he does not know what he is doing and that’s why he left frustrated. This place has been absolutely hell. It’s not worth it!

Perhaps maybe under old management some people didn't have such a good experience, but I'm a current tenant and have been for five years, so I have experienced both old and new management. I don't think it's as bad as some people are making it out to be. I was and am still grateful that I found this place when I did. The rent was affordable, the school system was decent, if I needed any repairs they were prompt in getting things fixed. Water and trash was paid for... I really don't know what the other reviewer was talking about when she/he said to take your money elsewhere and you can find a better home. I was searching for homes for a year and needed to stay in the city, and for my budget Maplewood Townhomes was my best option. The unit has central AC, I had an extra half bathroom, an attached garage, there were new floors, new appliances, an IN UNIT washer and dryer. Coming from an apartment this was a major upgrade for me, I no longer had to fight for a parking spot or for a washer or dryer. Also, I did not experience any bug infestation, I mean other than the local boxelder bugs popping up in the summer, but that was short lived and I just sprayed them away.

This is not a good place to stay At all there are to many bugs, They do not come and change the vents, The Trash Is always throwing out in the street, They will Try and kick you out wit out a eviction notice. When you turn the water on it makes noise the rooms are entirely to small for the amount of money that they want you to pay you can never get a hold of anyone in the Office, when people move in they just hurry up and throw paint over everything I had to go and view the home when I was trying to become a resident on my own I was giving the key to tour the place myself. Just pass up this place !

I delivered pizza there a lot. The parking lot is usually full of potholes, and the buzzers never worked. I do not know if it's income based
