The staff have a hard and emotional job and I haven’t met one person yet who has been negative at any point along my journey. From check in to the nurses, my oncologist who always listens and explains to me any questions or issues I may be having. The nurses in the infusion area are so kind and sweet and can be funny to lighten the mood. The volunteer ladies are always checking to make sure we don’t need anything (warm blankets, a drink, a snack etc) and they are so sweet too! It’s just a great work environment! It would be wrong of me to not mention my nurse navigator, Cindy! She is a life saver. Her job is to make sure I know when my appointments are, help me make the appointments, she walked me through all of my FMLA forms and made sure they were filled out in a speedy manner and she answers all my questions that I have and if she doesn’t have the answer she finds it asap. She is incredible!! I would have been lost without her.
