My parents are approaching their 2nd anniversary at Merrill Gardens and I felt it was a good time to share what a wonderful experience it has been for our family. The entire staff, from the tour to daily care, dining room, front desk, the general manager and daily activity has been beyond my expectations. I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful experience, the staff truly enjoys the residents and shows care and love daily. Merrill Gardens has provided exactly what I hoped for in senior care. THE BEST!!!

Prior to moving my husband into Garden House (Merrill Gardens memory care center), my husband was in a different facility across the road that did not properly care for him to the point of him getting injured and needing hospitalization and that was after being there for only a month. Since moving to Garden House, my husband is happy, he is gaining weight and properly being taken care of. Every time I visit all of the staff are helpful and happy to be there. All of the residents are happy and engaged in activities. Anytime I have a question or concern it is handled immediately. I don’t have to worry about him and can sleep at night knowing that he is being taken care of. Living with and caring for a loved one with dementia is the hardest task I’ve ever done in my life (it makes raising kids a breeze), I am so thankful for Garden House and their staff that provide amazing and loving care.

I want to publicly say how thankful I am for the loving care and support my Mom receives daily at Merrill Gardens in Woodstock. The level of professionalism they have shown is worthy of being recognized. The entire staff is wonderful and it feels so good knowing that many caring and intelligent people are watching over Mom when we cant be there. Our family moved my mom in over the weekend and I cannot rave enough about the experience. Pawel and John went above and beyond to help us, after we had a bad experience with movers. They made sure everything was connected and working in Mom’s apartment and were easy to find and answered questions quickly. And they got the heaviest of furniture out of the truck and into her apartment. Paula has been fabulous in finding the right apartment for Mom and making sure we had all our paperwork in order. She delivered a wonderful welcome basket and made a sign for Mom’s cats. The other staff has been extremely friendly and ready to help in any way. And the residents are happy and friendly and welcoming. The whole experience has been 5 star for us and we appreciate it so much. Thanks, MG staff - you’re the best!

Yes, they do provide memory care. My mother was there. Lovely facility. Overall, we were satisfied with the services provided her. Having to have an employee unlock a door for our coming & goings was annoying. Cost was the primary reason why we relocated her.

$3436 for the first resident $650 for the spouse $40 for the phone if a landline $450 and up for ADL's ( assistance for daily living or help with medicine)
