Our dog Zuzu loves going to day care at NYC Pet Services. She gets so excited when she realizes where we are headed when we drop her off. Beth and the rest of the crew treat Zuzu as if she were their own and we are so grateful to have such a great day care right in the neighborhood.

NYC Pet Services is the absolute BOMB. Super convenient location in Astoria, and the prices really can’t be beat. Homer has had a lifelong issue with separation anxiety, so I often need a place to drop him if I’m going out for more than a couple hours. He’s also about 95 pounds, so it’s really important for me to leave him with people who know what they’re doing, especially in a relatively small indoor space. His play energy can simply be overwhelming for some dogs (and the big dog usually gets blamed no matter what happens!) I’m really happy to have found a place where I’m super comfortable that he will be safe and well taken care of, and as a bonus, he sleeps like he’s dead when he comes home. The staff is awesome and they send tons of pictures throughout the day. That’s icing for me because I trust them, but I know it’s important to a lot of people to have updates on how their dog is doing. And it is always fun to see him having a great time. Just about the only thing that could be better would be if they were open late one or two nights a week; I have to make different arrangements if I’m going to the theater, for example. But when the only negative interview is that the reviewer wishes they could use the business more often, it’s a safe assumption that they’re a pretty satisfied customer!

I have been going to NYC Pet Services for about a year now and my dog absolutely loves it. He literally pulls me to rush inside. The entire staff is so friendly and takes such great care of my pup. Beth especially is always nice and welcoming. They send pictures of my pup to me throughout the day and they’re always so responsive whenever I need to reach out. The play area is much larger than most other day cares which is great since I have a husky that needs to run. By the time we get home my pup is always knocked out from playing all day! Oh and they have different activities for the doggies throughout the month! I love the staff and my dog loves the day care!

Solid spot. Really competitive pricing for both daycare and boarding. lots of dogs for mine to interact with. My pups always have a great time here and come back with big smiles. Staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. (Even going the extra step to bring my pups out to my car when the rain is heavy) They have some cool dog accessories too.
