6/17/2022 Heather Glen was a wonderful place for my father to receive the necessary support required to ensure his safety concerns were met and also a great place to socialize with the community. My husband and I looked at several senior living locations before deciding on Heather Glen. One of the main reasons we selected Heather Glen was the continuing support shown to our family. Kim Garrison was our go to person at Heather Glen. She provided us with all of the necessary information to make this a smooth transition for my father. All of our questions and concerns during his time at Heather Glen were addressed immediately by Kim and the staff at the facility. We would highly recommend Heather Glen if you are considering a place for your loved one.

Overall, Heather Glen is a nice place if you need assisted living. The facility is very well cared-for, clean with none of the worn linoleum or bad smells you encounter in certain other places for the elderly. The marketing / intake team was very competent and made the transition from hospital to assisted living seamless. The nurses were very caring and the daytime staff was also good. The only knock on the place is that the overnight staff is somewhat lacking, but everyone we spoke to at HG and at other places said that it's hard to find good help for that shift. I'd say that if you are able to generally take care of yourself, and do not require extensive care during the night, HG is a great place.

My grandfather resides at Heather Glen and it has been a great experience for him. He was not open to the idea of moving and pushed back all the time to my mom. He finally agreed and now wishes he would have done it sooner! He loves the staff and food!

The building itself is quite attractive! The patients are lovely people, it’s just the management that falls short and the benefits, well… there aren’t really any!!! Health Insurance isn’t worth it and you get like 7 days pto and that is sick and vacation!! To live there it’s nice but to work there as a nurse or other it’s not worth your time of even applying!! If you want to work for a Company that doesn’t value it’s employees enough to provide decent benefits then go for it!

It's so tragic and difficult. What I know is that staff is meeting to coordinate all family communications and concerns as fast as possible. There is a command center on site and family members can stop by.
