I have been living in the east building since last spring and things have been mostly fine. Like any apartment complex it has its pros and cons. Most of my maintenance requests have been fixed within 24 hours. At one point in the summer I noticed water dripping from the cabinets in the kitchen into the microwave. This was around 9 pm so I called the emergency maintenance number. You don't talk to a person when you call the emergency number at night they put you into a mailbox and you leave a message for them. Someone came out within an hour and told me that the unit above me had a leak and they turned off their water quickly resolving the issue. Unfortunately, many of the complaints from other residents on here are true. The building usually has an unpleasant smell, the stairways are usually dirty/littered with trash, and the elevators need some repairs. It can be frustrating to not be able to use the stove and the washer/dryer at the same time. The water temperature in the shower seems to vary. They also don't seem to care about recycling. All of the dumpsters/containers I have seen on the property are filled with trash.

Very nasty people in the office. The office manager Lorna is so rude and ignorant. She yells at you over the phone and will not let you get a word in. I never met a person like this ever. She is a disgrace and by no means should be a so called office manager!

Morgan Properties is doing the best they can to improve the quality of the property but some of the residents are not complying with the proper usage of the assets. The maintenance teams do not pay attention to prevent them from their wrong doing or maybe they don't mind about. I live in here for 5 years, and I have been running this business for many years in my mother land, so I really feel sorry for Morgan Properties which doesn't have someone with empathy and loyalty to save their assets in here.

As a tenant of 26 years we are very satisfied with the living conditions. We still give a 5 star rating. We like to give a Special Thanks to Lorna Martin who is very professional and excellent at her job from all of the manager we ever had. Thank you again to Peter to you and your staff at the job they do. When we ever have a problem it is done in a professional and timely manner. We like communicating with the staff. We would recommend Colonial Apts. We are giving a 5 star rating because we like to commend the outstanding job the maintenance staff Pete, Derrick and James did with all their hard work and time they put in to keep the snow removal clear for the tenants. They really went out of their way to make it safe and made it easy for you to get your cars out. Pete worked long hours using the plow to make sure the parking lot was taken care of. We have seen other complexes and snow removal was neither taken care of or a poor job was done. Thanks again for your service.
