Got my document back without the Apostille I paid for. With a sticky note that stated "call this number for more information" and an extension #. No further explanation as to why it was rejected. This whole state is a joke. I drove two hours to Trenton to get this document myself. I didn't get the Apostille bc this place didn't have appointments that day, I sent the document in, and been calling them for weeks. No answer. I just got back from my first vacation in 4 years and received this document with the sticky note. Nobody knows why I'm calling and they're asking ME why my apostille got rejected 😂😭 This is why I pay taxes, thank you NJ.

It’s a shame there’s no way to keep track/any tracking to keep track of the documents you send in so costumers don’t have to call and ask the employees. I spoke with Terri about an apostillized document. I lost my job opportunity because I didn’t get my documents in time (not the fault of the treasury, these are difficult times and their backed up). But when I expressed my concern for when the documents would arrive and that I would be losing my job position she said “Not my problem” and hung up on me. I do not blame the treasury for the back up but I was expecting empathy or decency in costumer service. I’ve never written a review in my life but these are difficult times and this job was important to me. I’m grateful that these employees can work from home but please have some courtesy for those not as fortunate.

Received mail asking for $100 tax return for a business that is in Texas, had the wrong mailing address, wrong name, and a bizarre owner's name registered for our business. yet some how got to her address in houston. Would not help with how to dispute the charge because we refused to pay for their scam. and do not raise your voice to people on the phone. sorry you dont understand that we are in Houston after the many times we say we have nothing to do with New Jersey.
