It took a lot of patience, a few uploads of applicable documents, and time for my internet-challenged SIL to claim $60, but we received the check today.

Unfortunately, I have been waiting for almost three months to recover over $500+. It is almost impossible to get a reasonable response. I've been told my mailed documents have been received but not assigned or processed. Their official website response to my claim has not been updated in more than 3 weeks. Please assess your customer service status. In my opinion it's beyond poor. LJ

If there is a contingent beneficiary, it would go to them. If one was not listed, it would/should go to the estate. The reason I say that, is because I was told if I didn't have a beneficiary, it would go to my estate.

How can I claim money from stocks that I bought and since my account did not move, so they sent my money there with you?

My husband's name and address are shown in a listing in our local paper for unclaimed property but when I go onto the site and search, his name doesn't come up in NJ. What should we do as the next step?
