- Bait and switch with actual quotes from agent bring twice online quotes - gaslighting by agent during my correspondence with him - unprofessional customer service - their lowest quote was highest of other broker agencies

I have been a customer for years starting when I lived in Nashville. I sold my Nashville house last December. I am still receiving documents from my former insurance company and it's August 1st of the next year. A Zander agent told me a month ago that it would be taken care of. I just received another document from my former insurance company. I called in and they pretended we hadn't talked a month ago. Deceiving the customer is not acceptable. I guess you should only use them if you like being lied to. Update: I appreciate the reaction to being called out publicly. It would have been nice if the agent I was on the phone with hadn’t implied that I was lying about the conversation I had with a Zander agent on 6/10/22. Based on the increasingly bimodal distribution of Zander’s reviews on here the company needs to do some serious reevaluation. Hopefully Dave Ramsey also reconsiders his brand’s association with a company that has 1 star reviews as its second largest bin. Seems like he’d be wise to distance himself while Zander figures out where it stands on its customer relations.

Oh This place is the worst. Their lack of professionalism is simply unparalleled. And yes, I am sitting on hold (and have been for 33 min) but the inability for customer service is laughable. I wish I could link the string of emails trying to get my address correct. I did have to search for the emails as my email address is wrong as well. They sent the emails to my father....who isn't even on the policy nor does he have anything to do with the policy. He just did some research to find them. I am here to let researchers know what a horrible company this is....hang on a second....I have have to call back....they just hang up on me. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Edit: Zander Insurance sent me flowers and reached out to apologize. I decided to use them one more time to see if my experience truly was a slip through the Crack. I'm not changing my rating until they earn it though...but they truly seem to want to make things right. Edit: The employees at Zander have been working hard for me and I am appreciative of their efforts. I have changed my rating for how they changed my experience working with them. We all make mistakes, but a company that puts forth an effort to correct those mistakes should have a rating that reflects that effort. Thanks Zander for the effort made! Still not 5 stars, as I'm still not sure if this is the perfect fit.....but I am willing to change the rating if the whole process becomes boringly easy. I don't want to have to think about it, i just want to pay my bill and let the company do the job I hired them for.

Insurance shopping is usually extremely painful, but necessary. Each year I usually go through the painstakingly long process of gathering multiple quotes and evaluating several companies. This year I decided to work directly with Joe Eftekhari at Zander instead of going through the process myself. Joe spent numerous hours with me going through policy options and investigating and answering my numerous questions on each policy and coverage option. He was extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented throughout the process. For the first time insurance shopping wasn't stressful or painful and I saved a bucket of money!

Hi Tina, You are right to be concerned about sharing your personal information. When presenting documents to agencies like the DMV, overall they have the system and cyber security procedures in place to protect your data. That said, anytime you present information to a third party, assure that it’s 100% essential for them to have that information to complete your transaction, make sure you get any documents provided returned, and ask them about their security and data storage procedures.
You can call and cancel early. They will work with you and get it cancelled when you need it. That's what they did for me. Depending on the type of insurance, they might prorate it, but not all insurance can be prorated.
