Never answer phone . caseworker doesn't answer neither does operator. Recertification papers never sent. When you call 211 number local office sends paperwork so late giving only 2 days to turn in required documents. It's embarrassing enough getting welfare then this office makes you feel even worse. I am a grandmother trying to support myself and grand cold on my social security. Why doesn't welfare office make able bodied people go to work??? I personally know 3 young women with 4 to 6 children each who are proud to receive welfare brag about it and even when you report them the state of TN does absolutely nothing!!!!!

The inside office is closed to the public currently. However, you can pick up an application at the door to fill out and turn it in once complete. Otherwise, you can go only to their website to complete the application.

Ive called my caseworker a whole straight still no answer im only left to call the hotline
Also if you have a worker call them plus just going to office is the best way to get the help fast earlier or later the better
