I’m writing this because my visit with USA vein clinics was strange and concerning. Front desk staff and female nurses were very nice, friendly, and professional. I don’t want to have to give them a poor rating, but I work in a medical office myself, and the doctor and his male assistant who performed the sclerotherapy treatment had unprofessional protocol and weird attitudes. I purchased a Groupon for 2 sclerotherapy injections. The doctor himself (Dr. Sheth) was very awkward, struggled to explain answers to my very basic questions about veins/vein procedures. He performed sclerotherapy on one leg, then was talking as if the whole procedure is finished, I mentioned that I indeed have two legs and the same problem is on the other one, so he shuffled confusedly and finished my other leg... still leaving a large section of untreated veins on one leg. In other words the doctor failed to merely perform a visual examination of my legs, I was just immediately sat on a table for injections. He was hesitant and used the word “like” a lot as he searched to explain the procedure to me. Also, no one told me exactly what they were injecting into me! I had to ask. They hurriedly verbally explained aftercare, no take home information. More so concerning, the procedure was performed in what felt like a storage closet, medical supplies stacked about, cleaning supplies and spray bottles scattered over the countertop, barely enough room for all three of us in there. The assistant has me sign the “injection consent” as I was having the procedure, literally had needles in my leg as I had to lean over and sign an iPad for him. I asked him why I was signing the consent during the procedure instead of before, he stated that the front office had forgotten. Finally, as I was checking out I asked the front office lady, “so is there another injection session I’m eligible for? Since this groupon is advertised for ‘two injections’.” She said no. I watched as they only used one syringe on me for this appointment, so I’m unsure if they actually honored the “two injections”. Not that I plan to go back any way. I hope this practice can listen to my feedback and improve their protocol and provide a better environment for future patients.

I found them via a groupon. I was told my insurance would cover my varicose vein procedure. I had about 5 spots all shorter than 3 inches. They said although I was out of network they would charge me in network. After 3 procedures I got a bill for 36,000. I have really good insurance and for that to be my owed amount is ridiculous. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I can’t get anyone from billing to return my calls.

Please please DO NOT HAVE ANY WORK DONE WITHOUT A WRITTEN ESTIMATE, they told me : do not worry about it your insurance will pay, they charged my insurance 17K for my first procedure (2 legs) and then since my insurance would not pay this amount they tried to collect from me , i never finished my treatment unfortunately.
