You can hike either the service road or the Burr Trail to the top. From there, the hike from peak to peak along the trail that follows the entire mountain crest (about 2 miles along the top) is beautiful.

There are two different trails from the trailhead here. A hiking trail (bolt trail) that splits off of the main path to the right early on. The main path starts out as a wide rocky road for about 1/4 of a mile then turns to a paved path/road that takes you up to the utility station, about 3/4 miles. Then you can continue up to the peak of the mountain from there. About 750 ft. Of elivation gain to the peak. 2.5 mile round trip.to the peak and back on the main path. Don't let the path fool you it is an significant incline and is not easy to walk up or down. Overall a beautiful hike once you get to the top. Great spot for a sunset! Bring water!

Really fun hike! I decided to go up the side trail instead of the concrete one and got some great views.

Beautiful trail. Can be as easy or difficult as you wish. Hike up the concrete path or really hike and venture up the mountains spine.

Yes, you can. Do be advised that the concrete path can be tough on dogs feet. It's really rough.
