I have been a member since this facility opened its doors waayy back then. It is the best kept secret in the ATL if you enjoy swimming, steam room and plenty of elbow room to work out. 95 % of the time you dont have to wait to use any machine and the gym is spic and span clean. Enjoy yourself!

Rude front desk staff that has an underlying tone that comes across as racist.it’s mainly from a large old bald headed woman. She was extremely rude. Fu$& her, fu$& her mom and fu$& her whole squad!

I have had issues with this YMCA a few times and even paused my membership prior due to the frustrations I have had in the past, but besides my formal complaint I am writing here to warn others of the lady at the reception that is EXTREMELY rude. She is a bigger lady, bald, and scoffs at everything you say. She was rude on Sunday when I came in to check on my membership that I had renewed. I came in before closing which is on me, but laughed and said "oh no i have the worse timing" and she said scoffed and she rolled her eyes. She then was rude again today when my husband went to Martial Arts with my child and she hassled us about him not having a membership so he couldn't take him to Karate. First, you don't NEED a membership to buy any of the programs at the YMCA. I had my membership on pause for a LONG while and for the last few months that my son has been doing Karate. She said "oh they just let you do whatever then huh" with an attitude and another scoff. I told her my husband wasn't going to be getting a membership just to sit up there and be his guardian for karate. My son and I both have an active membership that we will be cancelling when this month is over. She told me "why would you even send him here and pay for his training without doing a membership" and rolled her eyes. That's FINE, you're right, WHY WOULD I go there with staff like you. The residents of this area deserve better than your desire to make other's lives harder. Please do something else with her rather than front facing with customers or have her move on with her life because this is NOT the right fit for her.
