I know that there are staffing issues everywhere. I get it! However, there is no sense of urgency at this salon. They are not proactive with scheduling. 15 people waiting, 2 people working... One who is moving through clients... The other will not stop talking... About partying, concerts, get your buzz on before you go to the show... Things no one in here wants to hear. I understand you want to be friendly and personable, but if you can't multi task, be aware of your clients, acknowledge your clients, and have a sense of urgency... particularly when you are the "manager"... You need to perhaps rethink either your position, or how to effectively do your job. Time management is an art... Maybe some classes are in order.

I liked bringing my sister here because there is one specific stylist that always does a good job with her hair that she is comfortable with. So, this most recent visit, we called ahead as usual to make sure the specific stylist was there as usual. When we arrived, said stylist was on a quick lunch break. No big deal! We can wait. I’m personally not particular when It comes to who cuts my hair so they take me back right away. I told the woman who cut my hair that I just wanted a trim. She asked if I wanted to freshen the layers too, I said sure. Well, I guess I should be more particular when It comes to stylist because my hair ended up UNEVEN. (longer on one side.) She also changed the entire shape of my haircut by razoring these layers so now I have a haircut that makes me look 30 years older. I wear glasses so I couldn’t see what she was doing the whole time she cut It and I didn’t realize the extent of the issue until i got home and showered. Then, what’s worse is when I’m done, I realize that they had set my sister in some other stylists chair. She was too anxious to say anything. We had expressly stated numerous times at check in that my sister wanted a specific person. That person came back from lunch and was entirely free to take her. We were the only clients in the building. There was no reason to give her to a different stylist. They just disregarded our wishes and didn’t communicate anything. We both left unhappy with our experience. Now I have to find someone to level out my hair and my sister can no longer trust that she will be seen by who she was originally intended to see.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
