This was our first time eating Korean. Loved it. I told the waiter we knew nothing ( we did have some ideas from a friend) and he was helpful and kept me from ordering a side of rice since rice came with the soup. He also made sure I knew what to do with the raw egg in its shell that was presented. There were so many dishes of sauces and condiments I would never have known to add it to my soup which was served actually still boiling. We ordered the veggie pancake, a mushroom bibimbab, and mushroom tofu soup. All was very tasty and not too salty. The tea we ordered was great but sweetened. I would have ordered unsweetened or not at all if I had realized this. We were here on Sunday night around 7 and not busy. Parking plentiful and free.

Eating here for years. (Since demise of Tofu 88) We enjoy many other Soon Dobu shops as well, but this feels like home. It's the people and the solid quality. And their Fish Spawn soup. [Edit: they recently stopped providing the whole little croaker that is the centerpiece of banchan... Points off for that. On the plus side, you have access to a free soft-serve ice cream and sweet coffee machine]

The soondubu is amazing! Really cute, family-owned establishment. This will definitely be my go to Korean restaurant!

Korean style restaurant. Prompt and courteous service. The food was delicious and the server was helpful with my special requests. The vegetable steamed dumplings were outstanding.
