One of my favorite places to ride my bike. Shady, nice views, mostly flat. If you're a bit out of shape and middle aged like me, would recommend starting in Elkmont, then head up the trail North first while you are fresh and plenty of energy. It's the toughest part, the South end of the trail is nice and easy.

The South side of the trail on Piney Chapel Rd at the corner of Delaney Rd has horse trailer parking along with a picnic pavilion and restrooms. The North end of the trail at the corner of Veto Rd and State Line Rd has no bathroom facilities in the parking lot, but room for horse trailers as well.
I don't know, but I let mine off his leash when no one is around.
This is a trail only, you must bring your own horse or non-motorized bike to ride. You may also enjoy walking or running the trail for free.
It is free to park and use the trail.
It's 10.1 mi. From Piney Chapel Rd to Veto Rd, just north of the TN state line.
