I love Dr. Goldschlager and Ramon. The Dr. Is kind, considerate and very knowledgeable regarding cats, and rest assured other animals. He literally saved my cat Morgan, whom I might add loves him also. Whenever I leave there I know that my cats received the best possible care, and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Ramon is a sweetheart and is always kind to me, and extremely attentive and personable. I love them, and appreciate the care that they have given my animals over the years!

Over the years this place was the go to to bring your animal. As of 2 to 3 years the staff at the front desk are rude. You call the office you can hear in their voice they don't want to help you. Scheduling an appt is weeks on out. If you have a sick animal obviously the urgency of being seen is important. Jim is the only reason why I still conduct business here. He is the best groomer around.

I have been taking my dogs to Yonkers Animal Hospital for over 10 years and since Dr. Howell left and they are now under new management, I will never come back here again. They went from being a great vet that cared about the animals and valued their customers, to only caring about the money. Today they were able to “squeeze me in” for a rabies vaccine and nail clipping (and noted that they were only able to fit me in because it wasn’t an exam). I then get my dogs back after 4 min being inside and get a bill for $290 for 2 “exams.” I obviously was upset because there wasn’t even enough time for my dogs to be thoroughly examined. I was told my the office manager, Puja, that I could submit a claim against them but it would “negatively affect my credit score.” It’s really a shame because Dr. Howell was a great vet who was smart and cared about dogs and the community, and now im forced to find another vet. Also, avoid Dr. Goldschlager at all costs!

This place has methods that no other Vet clinics have. These new owners are overcharging on services and to make it worst they now have a policy where you have to leave a $75 deposit just so they can confirm your appointment. Before these new owners, the prices were reasonsonable and affordable. I will be taking my dog somewhere else

Rabies vaccinations have a very low failure rate. As long as you kept his vaccinations current (every 3 years) he should be fine
Hi Cynthia, We are an animal hospital and do not have dogs for sale or adoption. I suggest trying petfinder or a breeder. Good luck in your search. We are here if you having any questions once you welcome in the new family member.

Call and see if they can fit you in. They are nice.
They will deworm your dog or after checking your dog out will recommend what actions to take.. You might want to bring some fresh manuer/ poop to be examine to see if the dog has worms... Yonkers Animal Hospital is the best!!!....
