Rude and disrespectful staff! Today was my first time trying to work in this library and I wanted to go early to enjoy some quiet time before kids and teens are out from school. At 11 a.m two members of staff were talking for almost an hour and laughing very loud while myself and the lady sitting next to me working could not concentrate. When one of the staff saw me looking their way, she approached me and asked me "Can I help with something?", I said "no, I just could not focus" and she responded with the most condescending way and said "Well it gets worse after 2:30" then looked me up and down and said " just so you know okay?".

No, only for Library personnel, but there is often street parking nearby.
Yes
With a library card you can use their computers and print up to 20 pages a day for free
Either picture ID with address on it or picture ID and any piece of mail with your name and address
They have a copy machine but I'm not sure that the public has access to it
You would have to call them because I'm not sure
They are not open yet. The QPL only have 6 to 8 branches open at the month only for To-Go services and for drop off of books. In this Library you can only drop off books in the machine outside. The QPL is opening the libraries in stages. See this link for more information. https://www.queenslibrary.org/about-us/news-media/blog/2038
Yes. You can pick up your requested item with the new card. If you have any issues, just ask the staff.
ESOL classes are given in the spring and fall at Ridgewood. Staff will provide information or visit https://www.queenslibrary.org/programs-activities/new-americans/learn-english/learn-english-for-everyday.

The building is completely accessible. It is not easy to see, but there is an ADA lift to the computer area. If you can't find it, just ask staff and they will show you. It's just behind the reference desk.
Flushing Library or Central Library only.
Hourly rate not for full time
Daily homework help is provided after school.
Friday 10 am-6 pm
Language class information: https://www.queenslibrary.org/programs-activities/new-americans/learn-english/learn-english-for-everyday
You will need a Queens Library card to use the computers to print.
I believe 12 is below the minimum working age in NY.
Many programs are offered after school. The program varies as new things are tried all the time. Programs are offered for teens, adults, and children. The website lists most programs, also a printed calendar is available at the branch.
Register for what exactly?
To get a free account, you need to live, work, attend school, or own property in New York State. If you fit into one or more of those categories, you will need a government issued ID card with your current address. If your ID has an old address, bring your ID and something that has your name and current address on it, such as an apartment lease, mobile phone bill, etc.
