Pros: 1. The facility is a new construction and looks nice. Cons: 1. Rushed visit - The practitioner I saw was in the room for no longer than 2 minutes. He did not even introduce himself. 2. My health history was ignored. I mentioned I had complex chronic health issues, and without asking any pertinent questions the practitioner said he would prescribe two (unnamed) medicines, one of which he mentioned was an antibiotic. I inquired about this given my health history, and he decided to drop it. The other unnamed med he prescribed I found out from my pharmacy was one I have adverse reactions to. I was not given any alternatives, nor therapies outside of the Rx meds to try. 3. Cost - My copay was $120 for this completely unproductive visit. This was with private health insurance. 4. Wait time - Despite there only being one other person in the waiting room, I waited over half an hour. While not awful, that's not very fast-paced or urgent given how little time the practitioners actually spend with the patients. 5. Poor customer service - I reached out about this experience almost two weeks ago, and still have not received anything more than an automated response.

Simple registration process. Receptionist was friendly, professional and helpful. Very little wait time and intake staff member was efficient, professional and friendly as well. The nurse practitioner on duty was also professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did a thorough examination and provided easy to understand information about my diagnosis as well as clear and easily understood instructions for at home, self care after my visit. He was very kind and compassionate, as well as easy to talk to. I immediately felt at ease which normally difficult for me. The care I received was exceptional, exceeding my expectations. The clinic was clean and well kept with plenty of parking space, ample seating and clean restroom facilities, all in great condition. My total experience with the Fast Pace Clinic I visited was very positive and I would highly recommend them to others.

I hurt my back two days prior to visit. On the day of my visit I pulled a muscle and had pains through my back down to my leg. I was in a lot of pain. I arrived at fast pace 5 minutes before closing. I was greeted, treated and released in record time. I felt better immediately after a couple of shots and rx in tow. They’re always friendly and eager to help. I’m so thankful for this fast pace clinic and the people that work there. They’re definitely an asset to our community.

Just reading the previous posts, Josh WAS the best, he was thorough on my D.O.T. physical and referred FP to help me tend to my Blood Pressure and Cholesterol, (something i been doing for years with other clinics when i lived out west and up north), however, after beginning our short journey and paying out of pocket for my D.O.T. physical and blood work, i was informed by him today that i would need to seek the attention of a Primary Physician. As a Truck Driver i explained to him upon my physical it was not always convenient to go to a primary doctor seeing i am home rarely and i found clinics to offer flexible hours, such as FP. I spent hundreds of dollars beginning this journey with FP only to be abandoned by Josh. I see online they can handle psychiatric meds and other conditions but not BP and Cholesterol treatments. I was referring people to Etowah, thinking i found a place convenient and confident to care for myself and others, guess i was wrong. If you need a bandaid i guess Josh is the guy to see, other than that, i suppose you should find a primary physician, don't waste your time or money on FP of Etowah, Tennessee.
