Yes. They take walkins all day on Wednesdays. You can also do it on any other day. But your wait could possibly be longer. You have to wait in line to be seen either way. So they can check your documents.The line may be long but they move pretty quickly. Just wear something comfortable and take water. The line will be outside.

It varies. You should have been sent a renewal letter regarding your license renewal. It will tell you whether or not you can go online to renew or if you must go to the location for the license to get a new updated picture. But you can always get it renewed at the location.

I believe you have to go into the driver's office. Look online to see what documents to take with you . You can do an appointment or an e ticket too.

Make sure you have all the documentation you need. If not, you have to go back until they are complete.

The only thing you should need is whatever document proves your name change. Either a divorce decree stating that you can change your name, or a marriage license or certificate showing that you got married. And just to make sure you have everything, I would take two proofs of address. If for no other reason then you can get your real ID while you’re changing your name on your license. And of course you should take your current license with you as well.

Bring your current/valid driver's license, your birth certificate, SSN/social security card, and 2 recent utilities bills with your name and TN address listed (I believe phone bill or leasing documents can be used also; if you have only 1 document, you can sign an affidavit). They will not accept/print digital copies. Good luck!

They do not believe they require an appointment for the knowledge test, but I highly recommend it as the wait line can be very long, like hours.

Depends on what you are going for if its for road test no if its for getting I.D/ drivers license yes but the lines are long and be prepared to wait for hours or an hour . make sure you have all the paper work you need or they need or you will make 50 trips . I have spent a total of 18hrs this last week for 3 visits to the DMV if that tells you anything .

Not always. After a certain amount of time (I think it is ten years), they will need to take new picture of you that you cannot do online. I was able to renew my license once online before having to go in. You should also receive a renewal notice in the mail that will specify whether or not you can renew your license online at that time.
