Pretty much unnecessarily necessarily rude.... So call on behalf of my DEAF wife because she misplaced her ticket so I was just trying to get general information so it wouldn't potentially miss the court date. Which I was kind of met with dickishness from the clerk for no reason other than making sure the date that I had heard was correct.

Tried to check up on a speeding ticket I forgot to pay through Arvada which apparently just disappeared from their system and was basically told by the clerks 'oh Ive heard that before' and basically called me a liar and acted like I have no idea what Im talking about. why would I be here trying to get information?? Who WANTS to pay a speeding ticket?? Very rude and odd. Security guard was very kind and didnt make me feel stupid, so thank you sir :)

The judge was fair, all staff were courteous

tyranny. that is what this is. A cop lies and says i was speeding and the only way to get out of it is if the judge will believe a citizen over a cop. I have no faith in the system, in fact it creates more hardship than helpfulness.

Yes unless under the fine on the ticket it says "mandatory court"
I would recommend going in and asking, you don't want to miss your court date and they have you on file so they should know for sure. You can also call them. There is a 7 day window if you missed it so you have a grace period.

You cannot do walk in court on Fridays. Only Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 9am.
You can either call or go down to the courthouse and speak with the clerk
