I had paid and I was waiting for my photo to be taken. When the clerk calls my name and tells me that there’s a tear on my Citizenship Certificate. That I won’t be able to update my Drivers License today. This being my third attempt to get my last name changed. The two other times there was a problem verifying my SSN in their system. I had my passport, marriage license, citizenship certificate, still valid Driver’s License(2025) and SSC. I showed the clerk proof of my previous appointments, only so she grab them shred them and say it was government property?! I asked to reschedule and she declined, pointing at the security guard that can provide me with the hotline instead. She refused to provide proof of refund once I was out the door. She sent other to inform me that it would be available in 48hrs. Very degrading treatment and humiliation. Thanks

Very friendly and efficient. Arrive for your appointment on time, get your eyes checked, and then a brief wait until you see a technician to complete your application. Another short wait to get your photo and you're done.

I made an appointment online weeks in advance to get my out of state license changed over. When I showed up to my appointment, I waited 45 minutes. I figured this was standard. I finally make it to the front of the line with all of my documentation just to be denied. On top of that, the employee, Connie Jimenez, was the most rude and unprofessional employee I’ve ever encountered. Popping her bubble gum and tapping the counter in front of me, not even trying to help or point me in the right direction. Needless to say, I’m not even going to bother changing my license over. I’ll take the risk of a ticket vs having to ever encounter someone like her again.

Proof of address as well as current license.
Go to website mydmv.colorado.gov and schedule an appointment.
You can go there they will put your number in and then text you when it's your turn. I waited 1.5 hours but I got it done.
Also you can do it online and get it mailed without going you just gotta pay the 13$ and know your Identification number which is on your id and social security # or driver license number and it will get mailed to you in like a week
Yes you can
You have to set a date and time for that no mask required
I would go to the DMV office
Call the number or go to the website
Yes
Yes
Yes you do
Water, electricity or rent bill for proof of address. Yes you can bring your ID but i recommend a secondary ID
No walk ins appointment only
No. Must have appointment
Not at this time during covid
If you process it online yes. If you are planning on going in person, you are required to have an appointment as they are not currently accepting walk-ins. I went last week and had an appointment, the door will be locked and the attendant will check your appointment on a list for entry.
You need a passport or a birth certificate, two documents proving your address, you need to have completed the required online class and test beforehand and you'll need an adult to sign paperwork saying they are liable for you.
It's all appointments now
They are taking standby appointments via walk-in if you arrive at 8am. The walk-in appointment will be set for later that day. Good luck!!
